About Your Digital Desk OS

What is a Visual Workspace?

A Visual Workspace (often called a "Desk OS") is a non-linear way to organize your daily life. Unlike traditional lists that can feel overwhelming, a visual desk mimics the physical space of a clean, aesthetic office. It allows you to externalize your working memory by placing "notes" and "widgets" in a way that feels natural and inspiring.

Inspired by aesthetic digital planners, this tool focuses on the psychological aspect of productivity. When your workspace looks beautiful and organized, your brain encounters less "friction" when starting a task, making it an excellent tool for those who struggle with task initiation or focus.

How to Use Desk OS

  • Color Coding: Use the pastel dots in the sidebar to assign different colors to different areas of your life (e.g., Pink for Routines, Blue for Work, Green for Health).
  • The Hero Clock: The large digital display provides a clear temporal anchor, helping you stay aware of the current moment without distractions.
  • Sticky Notes: Click the "Plus" icon to add a new list. You can pin important lists to keep them at the top of your mind.
  • Daily Rhythm: Use the analog clock and calendar widgets to track your schedule and monthly goals side-by-side with your active tasks.
